The perfect venue for you?
Among music and dramatic societies we count ourselves lucky to have a place we can call our own. And what a place! At its heart is a 12.5 metres by 6.7 metres studio theatre performance space with movable staging and a lighting system that wouldn’t disgrace a professional theatre. To this impressive spec we’ve recently added a top-class, professional sound system. The Centre has a kitchen with fridge, microwave, cutlery and mugs galore. There’s a workshop where your designs can take shape, and a green room for a quiet, reflective discussion or business meeting. Drama, dance, music, mime, song – altogether, it’s the perfect venue for any group or society involved in almost any branch of the performing arts. And while we have to make a modest additional charge for the lighting and sound systems, the main studio itself can be yours for just £18 per hour.
